A number of Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release rehabilitators were able to attend the California Council of Wildlife Rehabilitators (CCWR) 13th Annual Symposium held this year at the Tenaya Lodge in beautiful Yosemite. The symposium began on Friday evening, November 16th and concluded on Sunday afternoon, November 18th. Sessions covered a wide range of subjects ranging from topics of general interest (California Fish and Game Update, Avian Influeza, Zononotic Diseases, etc.) to species-specific topics that included Wildlife Opthalmology, Wound Management, Fluid Therapy, and Fractures and Breaks. You could even attend a lecture on the repair of beaks and shells!
